Christians around the world support Jerusalem

as the undivided capital of the Jewish State of Israel

On Tuesday 7th March 2017, Christians for Israel International presented a "Jerusalem Declaration" to President Reuven Rivlin at the President's Residence in Jerusalem. In this Declaration, we as Christians acknowledge that the city of Jerusalem belongs to the Jewish people as part of G'd's covenant promise, and we express our unconditional support for the governance of the undivided city as the capital of the Jewish State of Israel. In the coming months, this Declaration will be brought to the attention of churches and Christian organisations world-wide. [read the report]

On Wednesday 8th March 2017, the European Coalition for Israel will officially launch an open letter in support of a united Jerusalem, ahead of the 50th anniversary of the reunification of Jerusalem in June 1967.

Both Christians for Israel and the European Coalition for Israel are Europe-based organisations. They are the largest and most influential Christian organisations promoting Christian/Jewish dialogue and support for the Jewish people and the State of Israel. Neither organisation has any political affiliation, and both represent hundreds of thousands of Christians of all denominations in many different countries around the world.

  • Christians for Israel was established in 1979 in The Netherlands. Today, it has offices and representatives in over 40 nations on all continents. The goal of Christians for Israel is to raise awareness in the church about G'd's faithfulness to Israel, and mobilise Christians to support Israel and the Jewish people through prayer and action.
  • European Coalition for Israel was established in Brussels in 2003. ECI is active in Brussels and many European capital cities, and through its "Forum for Cultural Diplomacy" also in the United Nations in New York.
