Dear Friends,

2015 has been a special year in so many ways. We thank God for all His blessings over the last year, including -

  • A successful C4I Leadership Forum in Israel in Jerusalem in May 2015
  • Amazing commitment, perseverance and creativity of our Regional Directors – Marie Louise Weissenböck (Europe), Wilson Ng (Asia), Graeme Lee (Oceania/Pacific), Drake Kanaabo (East Africa), and Elemi Samson (Central/West Africa)
  • Continued health of our International President Willem Glashouwer as he travels the world preaching God’s word
  • Ongoing work of the C4I leaders, staff and volunteers in more than 40 nations throughout the world
  • A new generation of C4I leaders and teachers arising in many nations – including USA, Brazil, Albania, Denmark, Myanmar, Fiji, and Cook Islands.
As we celebrate the coming of Christ in the flesh in humility, we also look forward to His coming again in glory - for Israel, the church and the nations.

We wish you a Blessed Christmas and prosperous 2016!

In one of the last working days before Christmas, the United Nations has officially recognised the Jewish holiday Yom Kippur as an official UN holiday. For the first time in its 70-year history UN employees who observe Jewish faith will have the day off and there will be no official meetings on this day.

New building in kibbutz Yagoor - From the Northland to the Warm North of Israel

"As the Lord lives, Who brought up and Who brought the seed of the house of Israel from the northland and from all the lands where I have driven them, and they shall dwell on their land." (Jeremiah 23:7) Christians for Israel supports "First Home in the Homeland" since the beginning of 2014 and Elena Kovarsky is the Director of this program. The main purpose of this program is that olim learn/study Hebrew during the first five months five days a week and five hours a day, while the children of the olim are in kindergarten. Over 42 kibbutzim all over Israel participate in this program! Most of the olim participating in this program come from Ukraine, Russia and other former Sovjet countries.

Israel & Christians Today Int. Version, December 2015 Published

The international version of the Israel & Christians Today newspaper of December 2015 has been released. The main purpose of Israel & Christians Today is to explore the relationship between the Church, the nations and Israel (the Jewish people) from a Biblical perspective. The newspaper takes the position that God is faithful to His promises and that the restoration of the nation of Israel in our generation is a sign of Hope for the Church of the Coming of the Lord. Our message is intended for believers in the Lord Jesus Christ to discover God's promises for the Jewish people and the Church and the fulfillment of Biblical prophecy of which we are called to be part.

The message about Israel goes into Asia in many languages

Christians for Israel (C4I) organized its Third Asia Pacific Training and Leadership Conference in Yangon, Myanmar from 26th – 28th November. Forty Myanmarese pastors came to this conference - including many youth leaders. Several had travelled two days or more to attend the conference. They were joined by 35 delegates from Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Philippines, Vietnam, India and Pakistan.

World's largest Menorah in Maastricht - Netherlands

More than 300 people attended the lightning of the world's largest Menorah in Maastricht, Netherlands on the 7th of December (the 2nd night of Hanukkah). The Menorah was erected in front of the City Hall. The Mayor of the town, Annemarie Penn, welcomed everyone and stated that she was proud that such an event could take place in Maastricht, despite all the turmoil in the world.

Food parcels Ukraine: Jewish Roza has to survive on 23 euro cents

We received a phone call from Roza, whom we’ve known for a while, late one evening this week. An acquaintance informed her that we were handing out food parcels, and she wanted to know if we could give her one. I said to myself: ‘Why?"...Rosa does not need that!’ But we always have extra food parcels in our buses and so we drove to Rosa and she told us her story.

Christians for Israel Prayer Calendar December 2015 - January 2016

'Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem', is our calling from Psalm 122. Download the bi-monthly Christians for Israel Prayer Calendar and pray for Israel!

Bring the Jews Home - An emotional farewell, also for us!

We have known Liliya Presler for many years. She was the right hand of Holocaust survivor Rita Schweibes, who is responsible for the small Jewish community in Tulchin. Liliya always accompanied us whenever we visited the mass grave in a forest close to a small village in Ukraine, to listen to Rita’s horrific story! Liliya knew what Rita was talking about because her mother too had survived the Holocaust.

2015 'Why Israel?' Conference in USA - Huge Success

Christians for Israel USA conducted a 'Why Israel?' conference at East Bay Foursquare Church, Danville, CA on Saturday on October 24, 2015. The conference was a huge success! The seminar’s teacher was President Rev. Willem J.J. Glashouwer who taught all day from his trilogy of books.
