First Home in the Homeland - update August 2017

Our hectic month of August continues! Over 100 families (most of them from the former Soviet Union) will arrive until September 2017 to the various kibbutzim all over the country.
This week kibbutz Urim (17 km from the Gaza strip) welcomed two new olim families, one of them from Ukraine (Harkov) and the second from Russia (Kaliningrad).  Our First Home in the Homeland volunteer in kibbutz Nikol Boiko had a busy week, preparing apartments for their arrival.

And here they are, after a sleepless night:
Mihail and Elena Ivanov with their daughter Nastya (7 years old) and son Dima (1,5 years old) from Kaliningrad, Russia.

Aleksander and Irina Fayerman with their boys Artiom (14 years old) and Akim (5 years old) from Harkov, Ukraine. Their children were still sleeping when we came to say hello, we will meet them next time.

Let's wish them all good luck and a smooth absorption in Israel!

Thanks to the practical help of Christians for Israel in Ukraine for many olim their dream of aliyah will come true. And we are ready to receive them in one of 44 kibbutzim of the "First Home in the Homeland" all over Israel!

Many Jewish families from the Former Soviet Union want to join the 'First Home in Homeland' program. Also Jews from France have indicated that they want to join this program. Assisting a family in the "First Home" program costs € 230 euro / US $ 250 a month. Please support this 'First Home' program and help the people settle in the land of Israel! Any amount is welcome!
